MAROA REMEMBERS

The town is more than the stories one person remembers. Tell Mike about the place, person, night, joke, game, business, habit, weather, or ordinary moment that still feels like Maroa to you.

What belongs here

Not a polished essay. A detail only you would know.

A memory can be funny, ordinary, difficult, affectionate, unfinished, or only a few sentences long. Names, dates, spellings, locations, and the people Mike should call are especially useful. Mike will decide what becomes a public story and will verify what needs verifying before publication.

Maroa Remembers submission

Tell Mike what the town should remember.

Send the version you remember. You do not need to make it sound like a book. If the memory may fit a future story, Mike can follow up.

Do not send private records, Social Security numbers, medical information, or anything you do not have the right to share.
